INTRODUCTION
The 2025 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship will be the 20th staging of the FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The tournament will take place in Thailand. Starting from this staging, the World Championship will be expanded to include 32 teams, increasing from 24 teams. The tournament will henceforth also be held biennially instead of quadrennially
